Newsletter - Die neue Aufrüstungskoalition

(Eigener Bericht) - Die Beschaffung von Kampfdrohnen durch die mutmaßliche künftige Regierungskoalition und voraussichtlich auch die Bestätigung der "nuklearen Teilhabe" durch SPD, FDP und Bündnis 90/Die Grünen rücken näher. Wie sich aus einem neuen Positionspapier einer SPD-Projektgruppe ergibt, zieht die Partei ihre bisherige Weigerung, Kampfdrohnen zu beschaffen, zurück und öffnet sich dem Vorhaben - unter dem Vorwand, es diene nur dem Schutz deutscher Soldaten. Mit dieser Begründung hatten bereits Bündnis 90/Die Grünen ihren Widerstand gestoppt. Auch bei der "nuklearen Teilhabe" haben längst Rückzugsmanöver begonnen: Während die SPD in all den Jahren ihrer Regierungsbeteiligung an der Option festgehalten hat, deutsche Tornados im Kriegsfalle auch US-Atombomben abwerfen zu lassen, hieß es bei Bündnis 90/Die Grünen zuletzt, man könne "nicht einfach sagen, wir schicken die US-Atomwaffen mal eben zurück in die USA". Die scheidende Verteidigungsministerin Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer hat mit ihrer Ankündigung, bei Bedarf nukleare "Mittel" gegen Russland einzusetzen, einen diplomatischen Eklat ausgelöst.

NAJPEŁNIEJSZĄ koncepcję demokracji stworzył

Frederick Grimke (1791 - 1864), autor pracy Rozważania na temat charakteru i tendencji wolnych instytucji . (Consideration Upon the Nature and Tendency of Institutions. Cincinnati 1848)) .... Filarem stworzonej przez Grimkego teorii demokracji była jego koncepcja opinii publicznej. Opinia mas jest słuszna i może stanowić podstawę polityki publicznej, -ponieważ - zdaniem Grimkego - ludzie mają wrodzone poczucie dobra i zła, a wykształcenie i cały nieformalny system prestiżu oraz potępienia społecznego dodatkowo sprzyjają konformizacji opinii.

Wrbrew p[oglądom de Tocqqueville`a, Grimke uwaźał jednolitość opinii za zjawisko korzystne, ponieważ jednostka może się mylić, pogląd ogółu ludzi stanowi natomiast odzwierciedlenie swoistej "opinii ludzkości".

Stąd prosty wniosek, że w celu zbliżenia się do prawdy w kwestiach publicznych należy nieustannie poszerzać liczbę ludzi uczestniczących w życiu politycznym.

Strange radio waves emerge from the direction of the galactic center

Astronomers have discovered unusual signals coming from the direction of the Milky Way's center. The radio waves fit no currently understood pattern of variable radio source and could suggest a new class of stellar object.

"The strangest property of this new signal is that it is has a very high polarization. This means its light oscillates in only one direction, but that direction rotates with time," said Ziteng Wang, lead author of the new study and a Ph.D. student in the School of Physics at the University of Sydney.

"The brightness of the object also varies dramatically, by a factor of 100, and the signal switches on and off apparently at random. We've never seen anything like it."

Many types of star emit variable light across the electromagnetic spectrum. With tremendous advances in radio astronomy, the study of variable or transient objects in radio waves is a huge field of study helping us to reveal the secrets of the Universe. Pulsars, supernovae, flaring stars and fast radio bursts are all types of astronomical objects whose brightness varies.

"At first we thought it could be a pulsar—a very dense type of spinning dead star—or else a type of star that emits huge solar flares. But the signals from this new source don't match what we expect from these types of celestial objects," Mr Wang said.

The discovery of the object has been published today in the Astrophysical Journal.

Mr Wang and an international team, including scientists from Australia's national science agency CSIRO, Germany, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Spain and France discovered the object using the CSIRO's ASKAP radio telescope in Western Australia. Follow-up observations were with the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory's MeerKAT telescope.

Opiewali ją nie tylko polscy wieszczowie, ale i poeci narodów, o których wolność walczyliśmy do ostatniej kropli krwi.

Podziwiał nas Heine i Herweg, Boerne i von Platen, a więc poeci narodu, którego fałszywi prorocy głosili przez wieki całe krucjaty przeciwko nam.

To była właśnie nasza siła duchowa, zniewalająca także wroga, a wieszcącą klęskę tym,

którzy podnosili na nas zbrojne ręce.

Czy był nim krzyżacki miecz, nienawiść Bismarcka, czy krematoria Hitlera.

Nasza przeszłość, o której świadczą kamienie Krakowa i Wrocławia, Warszawy i Mazur, Sandomierza i Kaszub, dodawała nam sił nie tylko do przetrwania, ale i do ofensywy.

Świadectwem tego są kroniki Europy i Polski.

Mimo upływu lat brak wciąż jeszcze zadośćuczynienia za wszystkie krzywdy, jakie naszemu narodowi wyrządził brunatny reżim,

Normalizacja stosunków z RFN nie oznacza puszczenia w niepamięć tych faktów,

które słusznie przypominamy każdego września.

Jesteśmy w świecie znani nie z szumnych haseł lub budowania zamków na lodzie,

ale z propozycji, które apelują do najlepszych uczuć ludzkości.

Nasze konkursy chopinowskie mają swoją sławę.

Rok Kopernikański pozyskał nam nowe przyjaźnie.

Nasze inicjatywy dyplomatyczne budzą nie tylko zainteresowanie, jeśli sądzić z oświadczeń mężów stanu ze Wschodu i Zachodu, którzy licznie odwiedzają nasz kraj i jego stolicę.

Polska jeszcze nigdy w nowoczesnej historii nie była ośrodkiem takiego zainteresowania, jak w naszych czasach.

Staliśmy się bowiem jednym z tych filarów pokoju w Europie, na których kontynent nasz buduje swoją przyszłość.

Snując refleksje wrześniowe, jak czynimy to co roku, za każdym razem notujemy dalszy postęp.

A przecież jakże trudno było odrobić zniszczenia, jakich doznała Polska w nierównej walce z wrogiem.

Z tej perspektywy rzecz biorąc, nasze miejsce w świecie i szacunek, jakim cieszymy się wszędzie, stają się miarą naszych osiągnięć.
